A really bizarre thing happened 2 nights running. VDJ just shut itself down without warning and the crashguard (or whatever it's called) dialogue box didn't come up.

I've been running it without a problem for around 6 months and am using version 5.0 rev 5 and a DAC-2. It seemed to happen as I was clicking on a part of the main window, which is very strange as I have all the keyboard shortcuts disabled.

The crash happened 2 nights running and only once per evening. I have tried to recreate the error, but to no avail.

This has happened since I defragged the laptop last week, which is the only change I can think of that it's had.

Any ideas why this has happened?

A place I have found useful for computer related problems is the readers to te rescue forum at www.computeractive.co.uk
A very helpful bunch of people. Just like here in that respect.
