Hi there - not here to answer your question, I'm afraid :( ....just replying to suggest that you might like to start a thread in the 'Newbies' section of the forum to say 'hi' and introduce yourself to the rest of the forum members :)

It is dychroic glass used in lighting effects (most of the time) this is held in place with a silicon glue designed for high temprature.
There are several place on line that sell this but unfortunatly charge rather a lot for them.
I have found by buying coloured m16 or gu10 type lamps and carefully removing the glass filter on the front you can then cut it with a glass cutter to the shape of your gobo. Please remember to use a heatproof glue that will be safe up to about 200C or it would be a fire risk. These filters are already designed to work with halogen lamps so should be compatable. In fact due to distance from lamp when put on a gobos wheel they should actualy be further way than they were when fittted to original lamp.

A normal theatrical gel would just burn up, especially as a dicoric filter is so small, it would just burn from the edges, especially on a dark colour such as a blue.
