Had some good news today on the Xmas cancellations front... anyone else experiencing an upturn?

Had 3 dates cancelled on me - 7th, 14th & 15th. Kept the booking fees.

So far rebooked 14th & 15th at £50 per night MORE than the original booking ('cos they were a charity I work for frequently) and now taken the 20th as well, which I wasn't planning to work.

So from what looked like being a stingey (sp?) Xmas I'm smiling again ;)

And I've still got the 7th off :o

Did'nt have that many booking for December but suddenly i'm recieving last minute bookings which is starting to fill out my diary a bit better but still got some empty slots:o .

Perhaps it was a genuine mistake, or like me has mild dislecsia(SP), I often miss off letters from words.

All too often people use the dyslexia excuse for downright laziness, quite frankly it's an insult to all the genuine people here on the forum that do have dyslexia and make a genuine effort to overcome their obstacles. I'm extremely tired of people continuously using "text talk" here on the forum. Constant offenders will be reminded in the hope that they take heed to the forum guidelines. This isn't the first time (and most likely won't be the last time) that I've had to go over the same things.

I am dyslexic. Carol usually types for me. When she is not around it takes me longer to write often with spelling mistakes. I have been known to phone her at work to get the right spelling.

Which is the point I was making. True sufferers like yourself more often than not put extra efort into their posts, wheras I've seen a lot of other people just using dyslexia as an excuse for "lazy" literacy. I've started a separate topic HERE (http://www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=9912) regarding the subject, hopefully we can steer this topic back on track.
