Hey all,
Just seen an auction on ebay for some wharfedale speaker stacke that made me think.

If you were building a stack would it be better (sound/balance wise not wattage wise) to have a

1. 15inch regular Pa cab
15inch bass cab
18inch sub cab

or

2. 12/15inch Pa cab
15inch Pa cab
15/18 inch bass cab

Thanks

option one remove all crossovcer from bass cabs run 18'' bin upto 80hz then 15 bass cab on kick to about 170hz (approx:) then tops from 170hz upwards this way each speaker will have its own range also takes strees off each speaker. diadvantages 3 amps needed external crossover and more cables! but will sound much better

So, this is a long way off in the future but when i get my peavey pro 15s in the sales after christmas, :D :D :D will they kick out enough to power the top end or would i be better with something nearer 500watts per side for that?
