Never got any pics Daren, had the camera in the bag but that's where it stayed...you know what I'm like for remembering its there, how long did you have to wait for the pic of the brackets on my booth?
As for the Class D; I went for a demo in Oldham about 4 years ago, there were lots of us there with stuff like EV, Martin Audio, Celestion and lots of other stuff, they held their own pretty well and for the money I thought they were good...hunk of junk is a bit unfair.
Half of the people who slate Class D, are gear snobs who haven't even heard any in action.

Seriously, there is a big difference in sound quality.
If I ever needed to do a BIG wedding rig in a super large marquee (500+) then I probably would consider Class D
Anyway, the company bring it on themselves. Class A sounds SO much better. :o :D

Hmm. Bad weekend all around for me then.
Friday night in the Boat for a very late Valentines ball. 45 turned up, 10 left early, about 6 danced to the last few songs and then put in requests for more! One of those gigs where everyone is very complimentary, but it's no fun at all watching everyone sat around chatting at the bar while you play music.
Saturday night at a local club for a walk up gig where one very loud, busty lady made my life a misery by continuously requesting tracks that no-one danced to and then criticising whatever I followed them up with. One of her favourite requests of the night "Play some Disco!" along with "Last night a DJ saved my life" despite me telling her that I don't have it a number of times (by the way, why do none of the online retailers seem to have the original Indeep version??) Apparently pretty much none of the tracks on this list http://forum.mobilediscodirectory.co...ead.php?t=4399 are "Disco" as far as she's concerned - and even less of them are "Good disco". I normally consider 70's/Disco/Soul to be one of my stronger genres in terms of selecting tracks to get people on their feet - but last night was apparently not my night.
Overall, I seem to have spent most of this weekend staring at an empty dance floor despite my best efforts, and despite all of my customers being very happy with me!
Hopefully next weekend will be better...
