I turned off the music off, put the main lights on and refused to play/turn anything on until I got my phone back. After 15 minutes - it appeared on the floor.
Ummm funny that isn't it.... Arrrrr people are scum these days and like most its the numbers you lose rather than the phone its self.
Excellent night for me last night.
100 guests in a lovely little venue I do around 10 times a year for a joint 40th birthday. Real mixture of music but the 80's went down really well, as did the Indie/Rock/Alternative classics. No kids and probably no'one under 30.
Booked from 7.30pm - Midnight. Played background music really until around 9.00pm but had people coming up commenting on how good the music was which was nice.
Turned up the volume and that was it, they danced all the way through until Midnight. It was one of those gigs where you really enjoy yourself and it makes it all worthwhile.
Best songs of the night by a mile were 'Smells like teen spirit' by Nirvana, 'Common People' by Pulp and 'Only Girl' by Rihanna.
Got asked for cards at the end of the night by 5 people which is good because this area always pay well.
Charlie leaves on iPhone 4 (assumption) In view of 100 or so 14 year olds.
Im surprised you got it back mate :)

Great gig last night a surprise 40th. Was told to play 80's most of the night (Yes that'll do me) but was also told to drop the odd chart track in just to keep the kids smiling again no problem.
Then the biggest surprise of the night ( for me anyway) A young kid came up and asked (Couldn't be been any older then 10) Can you play Love gun by Kiss? Oh yes says I after I picked myself up off the floor
