I have to say well done Charlie.
I do two discos a year for a special needs school and as you said, it's great. They appreciate everything and absolutely love it and it humbles you.

had a wedding last night, meant to have 180 guests, actually had about 100. Was in a venue that insists their sound system is used, which is not loud enough and sounds terrible.
Decent amount of dancing and requests thoughout the evening but, as often happens with 1am weddings, a lot of guests started leaving 11.30 onwards. By 12.30 i had just 20 left.
bridge & groom were happy and a few cards went out, so im happy, but i wish people would finish weddings at 12.
I would agree with that. Unless it's a really jumping night. But I think you get a better finish with everyone still there at 12, rather than people drifting away if it's a 1am finish.Quote:

Sorry I missed this. I asked if it was theirs, and they claimed it was the venue's...until I pointed out a couple of grass clippings inside the spool as I'd used it to do the lawn the evening before. In fairness, they were very polite and apologetic.Quote:
