Last night was a very busy Christmas Party at my residency. Far too many people for the room really and I had to really squeeze my gear into limited space.
Good crowd though and up for it with 3 different companies. One of them were there last year and most of them recognised me which is good on one side but also not so good on another side as they seemed to think I was playing to just them!
Busy dancefloor all evening, too busy at times.
There was one drunk woman who had the tighest dress on ever and not the body for it who was a bit rude but that was the only real thing worth noting apart from when she backed into my deckstand during The Killers (which she requested). I was a bit sarcastic and clapped my hands which actually got her to apologise surprisingly. Despite me telling everybody to keep their drinks off the dancefloor, they still ignored me. No accidents luckily.
Just got back from an afternoon Christmas Party that I do every year for a local school for kids with learning difficulties. Always a pleasure and they really enjoy themselves and make me feel welcome. It's almost like Groundhog Day as at the end the Head Teacher comes over and says "That was amazing Gary, Same time next year!!".
Stinking cold at the moment and a bit of backache still but onwards and upwards and tonight's party at the residency is the penultimate one.
