Indeed I did.

Judging by the pictures, it looks exactly the same speaker, with a hole where the power light would usually shine through, uses dual speakon connectors.
Although colour is different, it looks exactly the same as the V2 model, but could be the MK1, doubt it though.
How much you still have to learn, young Max. ;) Rob couldn't possibly carry subs. He'd have to hire a roadie, and up his prices for the extra 50% sound. :D :D
Do I understand from that post that the V2 has different drivers from the
Mk1? I know the amp's different.
Well guys I apologise for the long post, but I thought I'd share last night's disco with you. So here goes,
I did a 60th Birthday last night from 6:00pm - 11:45pm, at a WMC just up the road from me, and what a peculiar night it was!
I started at 6:00pm and played background music until 6:45pm, then 2 lads did a 4-song acoustic set, consisting of:
Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
Elvis - Blue Suede Shoes
They were actually quite good.
Then, when they had finished at about 7:00pm, I played some more music up until the buffet, at 7:50pm
The buffet finished at 8:30pm and then the sons and daughters did a dance thingy to The Mom Song by Go Fish and it was very entertaining! :D
Afterwards there was a 'Treasure Hunt' with the Birthday Girl and her husband and that was very funny :D:D
Then from 9:40pm it was over to me to get them all dancing until 11:45pm!
As I slowed things down at 11:30pm, they all got in to a BIG circle and sung along to You'll Never Walk Alone (It had been requested) and then I played Angels.
I was asked to play You'll Never Walk Alone Again as they wanted EVERYONE on the dancefloor and there was about 10 people still sat down.
I got them all on to the dancefloor (Oh, the magic of the microphone:D), except for one chap, but 99.99% was good enough.
I was tipped off to play the Hokey Cokey instead so I did and they loved it!!! :D
and then I finished off with good old New York New York!
So it was a great and very different night last night :D:D:D
(I did feel a bit guilty, as the one chap that I was trying to get up on the dancefloor at the end, walked out on crutches at the end of the night :o :D)
Just thought I'd share - good gig on Saturday night helping a friend in a club in town from 10:00 until 3:30am, great crowd, responded well to a really wide range of music including (and this is my confession from the night) the Bob the Builder version of The Proclaimers, "500 Miles". Stupid here forgot that the original was called "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)".
Still, went down a storm (luckily the crowd knew the original words off by heart!)
