My first BIG posh wedding
:eek: well it's the morning after my "biggest gig" in relation to importance. A wedding night do at Carden Park in Cheshire. 200 guests in the large suite at the hotel.
Set up at 5.30 for 7.30 start, background music until 8.45, and they had a casinio until 11pm. I would have preferred a daytime set up but i had to work!. I was a bit "paniccy" if there is such a word about my sound equipment.
I had 2 EV sb122 subs running off an EV P600 amp, and 2 cheapo skytec 200watt speakers linked to my Toa sl 121 240 watt speakers running off the Wa 800 amp, not a clip all night, and i must admit, a crisp sound with loads of bass.
Lighting was 2 acme boogies, 2 prosound scanners and an impossiled on the top , 2 doctored vasto's, (took coloured mirrors out, so just gives white light), for the first dance, and various uplighting, 4 led par 56 on dmx colour control across the top of the room where i was, and 4 led par36 set to r&b.
Playout is a Citronic Cd1 running through a Kam 1000 mk4 mixer, and a numark cdn22 and citronic am7 mixer as back up, oh and my ipod just in case:eek:.
Usual music, chart, cheese, party, disco, chart and slowies. 1am finish packed down and on the road by 01.50, home by 02.45, and a beer:beer1:
Really good night, and i am liking the uplighting experience, but do need some more pars, and deffo longer dmx leads:D .
If any photo's came out from my better half wandering around with my old diggi camera i'll post later.:cool:
