1/ Driving too low impedance in speakers.
2/ Amp not vented properly ? fans working ?
3/ Blocking air vents on amp in a tight enclosure.
I agree, I use Audacity quite a bit for trimming/editing tracks etc.
The mp3 save part is a separate download which is a nuisance but there is a link to it on the Audacity page.
It needs the unit opening up and the old potentiometer replacing.
Suck off the old solder around the pot and it should come out ok.
If you have trouble getting the old knob off the shaft drill a...
Its hard if not sometimes impossible to please everyone.
One of my last gigs was an Army gig.
I played background music while they ate.
During that time an elderly gentlemen got up and asked me...
Because the both sources are driven probably by an operational amplifier then that output is low impedance (or nearly a short).
So connecting two together will just short each other out.

If you play hard ball you risk losing future gigs.
If you play soft ball then you can be seen as a soft touch and then get messed around even more.
I would be inclined to meet them in the middle...
Dating websites sometimes pull a similar trick.
They wait for your subscription to be up then send you some "made up" emails of someone being interested in you.
This encourages you to re-subscribe.
The adults can be worse than the kids !
I did a gig for the Army.
One of the wives asked me for a track by Lily Allen that I didn't have.
I apologised and said I was sorry I didn't have that...

Decided to design and build a valve amplifier.

Heavy metal covers such a wide range.

I did a Christmas gig in Kendal in the 1980's.
They didn't let me go home until 4am.
By then there had been quite a snow fall.
I tried getting home up the A6 over Shap but the road was blocked....
The quality of the leads depends on how many other discos are getting them as well.
You could be paying for a lead that has been sent to 10 other discos which means (unless your cheap) one of the...
I am 60 so remember as far back as the 1960's.

My dad on the other hand always asked for a discount !
He says if you dont ask you dont get one and it costs nothing to ask.
I was charged 40p per hit and after 3 weeks didn't get a single sale.
So gave it up.
Just be careful if you use paypal of a chargeback.
If they decide they didnt like something they could get paypal to retrieve their payment.
I had trouble with some equipment I bought via paypal...
I prefer internal drive. Saves carting around extra drive and cable.
Also no danger of drive cable getting pulled out half way through a track.
I prefer MP3 to CD's.
MP3's rarely skip and stutter.
With CD's the tracks are spread over numerous CD's and the one's I want have to remember which CD and where that CD is.
CD's weigh a ton...
