I'm selling off my old DJ playout equipment as I don't DJ anymore, this has been well looked after and flightcased all it's life, has never been used on hire.

I did have a chuckle at the comment about carrying speakers out over a dance floor. Is it completely unreasonable to an artist/band to just wait till the end?

I don't think it would matter. You could have bought the kit years ago - just sell it to you business at the time you form it.

Not sure abour rebates, as it would depend on what other earnings...

Midi van would be big enough for any DJ rig I would use (if I still DJ'd!) for normal sub-200 guest events. Although a people carrier would also do, just not as practical as a van.

Note that it says unamplified music, so that doesn't allow for much aside from brass bands, as vocals are nearly always amplified even for tiny venues. Mind you, that doesn't seem to have stopped the...

Thanks Darren, was just curious as to the number of hires taken to pay back, quite a bit more than I thought once you take out consumables and 'manning' costs I assume are built into the hire fee....
