    Glad you guys take the hardline on this stuff... one of my pet hates is poor use of grammar/punctuation and I've drifted away from certain other forums for this very reason.

    Fortunately, my spelling & grammar is quite good, but I cringe when I see some of the posts here.

    If someone's written English is not good, they MUST know that, in which case why not just run it through a spell checker?

    That's what I'd do.

    Surely it's common sense?

    It makes me wonder sometimes what their communication with clients is like - I'd find it very off-putting as a potential customer!
