Just had a phone call from touchlocal trying to sell me advertising. let the guy tell me all about their packages out of interest anyway... prices range start at about £25 a month and go to £54.
Think they contacted us because we just have a free listing with them. Anyone had experience with them?

They must be having a sales purge this week - I had a call yesterday too.

Just the free listing but I have considered them. The do come up fairly high on the list when I do a search.

Yep just had the same sales call.... Just let them carry on and then 10 mins later told them not intrested

Called me yesterday too. I said that I have done my advertising budget for the year and the guy still went on and on. He then said, "What can you afford?" and I said "Nothing". He then put the phone down on me!

I believe they have sold franchises for counties.

yes the guy who phones me said they where conducting a complete update of the "dj hire" section and the deadline for paid listings for it was today at 5pm... hmm convenient. i said we didn't review our advertising for the year for a few months yet and he suddenly wasn't interested!

I am always getting calls for advertising.
I just tell them if I took on every advertiser I would be seriously losing money !

So far I've not heard from them - but if they're doing the rounds, I'll be ready.
