16A What the! I think the fixture may be broken after that! Whats the device thats needing the fuse?
Dont you need to question what made the internal fuse blow in the first place. My experience has shown that that fuse only blows if theres a problem. Ive a twister 2 from 1991 that has never had a internal fuse replaced.
Are you sure you do not need a slow blow type fuse for that effect. Its may have to much inrush on power on either that or its faulty.
When the world ends , ill probably have to clean up the mess.
These fit the bill, but I'm not sure if they're actually what's required. Will have to read rest of thread.

My point though is that if you've got a 13A fuse in the plug, then it's not good having a 16A in the unit.
Agreed.
See first edit. While I agree with the theory, I say again, if he's only got 13A in the plug......................................
The pdf manual for the unit does not specify the fuse type, only physical size and current capacity.
Wise move.
I'm guessing two things.
1) Unit's faulty
2) It's no meant to run off a domestic 13A plug. Either 15A Round pin, or 16A Ceeform, neither of which are fitted with fuses.
Edit: Further reading shows that Ivan ( Cool Hand Luke) has indeed given a link to a slow blow fuse. Well done, it's probably more correct than mine, but all my objections still stand.
