Hits from 1949, 59, 69, 79, etc

Hi,

I've got an event in a couple of weeks where the organiser would like me to make a bit of a feature of playing 1 hit from each of:

1949
1959
1969
1979
1989
1999
2009

I'll obviously give it some thought myself, but I'm wondering if any of you learned folks have any good suggestions?

Apart from this, the general music policy is to be mostly "60's & well known tracks that will get everyone up dancing & singing".
