Default To download, or not to download

That is the question, whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the frowns and insults of grumpy punters whose requests you don't have, or sacrifice 79p on the altar of customer satisfaction and download their request ( legally of course )

I downloaded 2 guest requests Last Saturday on the iPad. To be honest I wouldn't mind downloading up to a half a dozen songs if I didn't have them and thought they'd work within the evening's song selections. A fiver is hardly going to break the bank.

The dongle is worth its weight in gold.
I did one earlier this year and I was asked for a very odd request that meant a lot to the client, it was a song his dad used to play to him when he was a kid.
I was able to download it there and then and played it.

Any one had to download a karaoke track?!!!
    (I haven’t yet)

Is it a phone? Is it fruit based? Laptop? Ipad? C'mon, give us a clue.

Are you sure you're actually Scottish? An allegorical joke about Bears might appear soon.

Not properly. I tried one to see if it worked, and it was mp3 only. Haven't tried with the proper ones yet.

Contrary to folklore, us Scots are amongst the most hospitable and generous nation of people you'll meet (along with the Irish).

I voted for "I'm digital, but no lappy, Dongle or fruit based phone" as I don't have any facilities to download music at gigs, nor am I interested in doing anything to change that.

My clients can request as many songs in advance as they like, and I'll download any that I don't have...so I always turn up at their gig with every single song they've asked for.

Apart from that, I have marginally under 10,000 songs and always carry at least 35 of the current top 40 songs, so it's very unlikely somebody will ask for a song I don't have, but on the rare occasions when they do, it's tough!

If it's not a song I already have, It's probably something I wouldn't want to play anyway.

I have downloaded karaoke tracks (but not at a gig), Sunfly has a good download service but last time I used it I had to download 3 tracks minimum at £2 a track.
