    Default Allen&Heath Xone S2

Was looking at buying a new mixer, and put my denon as a spare.
Really like the S2 but find it a little odd having all the connections on the base rather than the rear. To place the mixer low down in the rack case would leave no room. Is it just me that finds it odd

If it is being made specifically for contract installs, surley it would be benificial having the connections on the bottom as it would be installed into a fixed booth making it easier to access the connections from the underneath?

I don’t believe it is aimed purely at the fixed install.

It isn't aimed purely at fixed install, but mainly. As has been said, that is why the connections are on the bottom.

Didnt the formula sound mixers have the connections on the underside...and the Denon DNX050 has to....

Guess ill have to move a few things around in my case then to make room.
Looking at some of the features, it would appear more geared to a fixed install so i guess makes sense.
    Nice mixer.
Now time to finish my day down the pub and prepare for some football.
