I know what you mean, but as a kind of general rule. I doubt 100 watts will be massively loud.
This could be the most efficient thing on the planet and be adequately loud, and could be terribly wrong.
But I see where surround sounds is coming from, and at 100 watts i'd be inclined to say its not going to bee all that loud.
Do you agree?

As usual Darren is correct.
I run my RCF's on 100 watts and without any bass (just the tops 200 watts total) they are really good.
I used them in a marquee with a sound limiter and they were too loud infact
Judging by the make though I doubt they are very efficient, but you never know.
If you have a spare 125+ SPL driver hanging about that would be a great option and one I would consider.

I think they are ideal for PA speakers for the like's of Shopping centre's, business expo's, wedding fayres etc etc
