Hi DJs!
I'm joining the forum to get inspiration and tips for my mobile DJing in the western part of Norway where I reside.
I started out as a DJ in the mid 80s - so that should say something about my "seniority" or age if you like
First I started as a mobile DJ, then a couple of years as club/resident before I quit DJing for about 15 years. Started up again 7 years ago as a digital mobile DJ and is having a lot of fun doing parties, weddings and events around Bergen. I'm a gear-junkie and have 3 separate PA-setups, a lot of lighting equipment and even a large digital PA-mixer for special occations. (My last investment was the Denon DN-MC6000 - very pleased so far)
I also do sound and lighting gigs - sometimes combined with DJing.
My main focus is playing for the dancefloor and making the audience enjoy themselves. But I guess this is common sense for most mobile DJs?
Looking forward to participate in the discussions...
