Poor advice from Ellaskins on cleaning the smoke machine.
he says boil the kettle pour into a cup, let it cool then that's DE IONISED water.
Complete and utter
DE IONISED water is stuff you buy to top your battery levels up on the car.
It is free of any ferrous metals, metallic elements, impurities etc that is found in standard tap water. Hence this does not corrode any metal gubbings of your machine. I have always used DE IONISED water with a bit of white vinegar with no problem for years, again the white vinegar has no impurities and is a powerful cleaning agent.
As for Ellaskins (Jonathan) I will be telling him when I see him next that he needs a good sharp swift kick in the gonads offering poor advice like that !!
The procedure is fine just NEVER use tap water................Hot, cold or other !!!

Jealousy maybe
Not in the slightest. Sure the free stuff would be nice, but if it's a trade off with being that irritating.......

I'm affraid to say that the guy (ellaskins) seems to be a guy who apears to know what he's talking about to people who don't have a clue, but to anyone who knows, a lot of the stuff he says is inaccurate. He IS popular on youtube though.
big beat discos,
The biggest problem i've experienced and also heard about with fog machines is the heat exchanger failing. That's the thing inside the machine that heats up the fluid. If I was you i'd contact Martin Professional and see what they say, maybe they can repair it.
martin still have my machine it was purchased from roy @recones ..bit slow arent they martin that is?????????????
