Great Intro Keith - Welcome to the wonderful world of the MDD
Hi Keith,
Welcome to the forum.
Do you want to sell the AC30 if you've still got it?
...the chemistry of music

Thanks Alchemy,
Sadly I dont have the AC30, that one belonged to the Youth Club.
I did pick up another AC30 some years later and it was my "spare" amp just in case my Powertran SPA200 gave up. It wasnt in the original case but worked perfectly. I did revisit the youth club to see if they still had theirs with a view to buying it off them, or at least being able to measure the cabinet to build a replica for mine but they had thrown it out
Eventually I gave mine to a guy at work who was in a band so that he could keep it as a spare for his AC30.
Hi All,
Finally back on MDD after an enforced absence that changed my life rather unexpectedly. I had returned to DJing and done a few 80s nights with a group of other local DJs but then I developed a cough which just wouldn't shift. Kept seeing the doctor and they couldn't find out what it was. Finally last March I was diagnosed with a bacterial infection which was attacking my heart.
I spent 11 weeks in hospital and had to have open heart surgery at Papworth where I had two metal heart valves fitted. I spent a total of 4 1/2 months off work and then a couple of months on relatively light duties at work but I am now fighting fit again and ready to rejoin one of my favourite forums.
Because of my illness my disco gear still isn't fully finished but work is now resuming on that and I hope to be ready early in the new year. Having missed 11 months of posts I think it will take me a while to catch up but I look forward to reading some of them.
Hope everyone is nice and busy with Christmas booking and I want to be part of it again next year.
Regards
Keith
Good Heavens!! ( Other expletives are available. ) Blimey mate, I just have to take tablets. There's always somebody on here who goes one better, isn't there? Metal heart valves, eh? Should we change your name to RoboDJ? ( Shaun, there's a Photoshop job there, if you please )
It's really good to have you back, enjoy catching up on the gossip.
Welcome back Keith
