    Default Decent Wedding Fayre

    Mucho tired today.

After getting the gear to bed at 2:00am on Sunday morning we were back up and at it at a wedding Fayre at the Blackpool Hilton on site at 8:30am.

2 hours setting up catwalk lighting consisting of 4 LEDJ Omni Tri9's, 4 Martin MX4's and 4 big powerdrive winch stands. About 60 meters of dmx cable run around the room and and a whole load of duct tape employed.

It went really well and spoke to loads of folks.

Just taken a booking for 2013 off the back of it from a phone call this evening and already had a couple of other e-mails.

Roll on the next ones and roll on having a free stand. The power of supplying free catwalk lighting.

    Its all good fun.

Any pics of the catwalk setup? Would be interesting to see your hard work.

As always we took no camera with us (realy need to start getting more photo's of our handy work). It looked very impressive with the MX4's doing the old hollywood sweeping white spot lights around the room.

Did Kev get to do a live spot before the models came on?

I did this once for a large fayre @ the CIA (now Motorpoint Arena) in Cardiff.

Georgeous models, it seems, are not sheepish about wandering around in just their thongs and heels, before & between 'scenes'..... of course I'm a gentleman and averted my eyes....

ANYHOO - glad you had a good day. :-)

He was on live all day in short bursts to ensure he got enough breaks. Put him up on catwalk doing swing as background to the whole event. Then he did some full volume up beat stuff before the catwalk show. Excellent marketing opportunity.
