Default New website, but have dropped in google search

Have just modified my website and I am not sure why but have dropped off page one of Google. I kept the Tags the same in HTML and also most of the wording was the same as the old site, I just did a change on css and layout.

I know its the million dollar question but does anyone have any ideas why it might have dropped down on google searches

    Thanks

New website means it was sandboxed which will give it a "false listing". Work hard on the SEO and it will soon rise again.

Mine did the same when I revamped sandysounds.co.uk

After a couple of weeks it came back up the rankings even stronger and higher than before. Have you re-submitted your site map to Google?

Google revamped things last week--one of our Rodeo Bull sites has lost certain keyphrases on searches--and dropped considerably on rankings.

Ah well--its only a machine after all

You may need to consult an expert--we have already

Yes have re-submitted the site map a couple of weeks ago when I re-designed it.

From what has been said here sounds like it might be the Google revamp as well and I will have to give it a couple of weeks for it to come back up the listings.
