Personally, I'd rather do a 5 year stretch.

My daughter is about to start to do childrens parties. Not for me... I'll keep away from the "ankle-biters".....

She's a qualified Nursery Nurse so she is already enhanced CRB checked, and used to work in the local Brewers Fayre running their childrens' parties so she has a good idea of how to keep the little sweethearts entertained.

I'm just organising a kit for her... trying to make it "child friendly"... so a pair of 8" speakers (big enough for the home or a small village hall, no speaker stands (so less hazard), 100w amplifier, 2 iPods and a Numark iDJ (compact, light to carry, no CDs to get lost) .

Maybe a cheap db meter to keep it below 90 for safety of tiny ears.....

I am still considering lights... obviously nothing that gets hot could be considered, so I'm looking at led units, but again I don't want to use stands... so maybe a few rope lights.

All the kit needs to fit into the boot of her Corsa, so size is an issue too.

I am happy to do kids' parties, and will often take along my teenage daughter as she's a little less intimidating to look at than I am.

    Based around Exeter, South-West.
    Not CRB checked.
Don't do excessive amounts of games, but happy to interact a bit.
Don't supply presents or judge the games.
Cheap as chips if very local.
