    Default Decisions, Decisions!!

    Hi all

For my sanity, I wondered if any of you lot could help me (or rather my daughter) make a decision about her birthday (13th)

We've already had the 'what venue' debate, now we are debating the 'time'

We are having the do on a friday (at my fave venue - lol). We can get into the venue 6pm at the earliest.
What times do you reckon we should start and finish.

    7 - 10
    7.30 - 10.30
    7 - 10.30
    7 - 11
    7.30 - 11

Help please, before she does my head in any more tonight (she's fed up as it is 'cos we couldn't get a saturday night , and had to have a friday)

The oracle (my wife) reckons 7 - 10; ours went to an 11 year old party earlier this year for these times.

    I M H O (LOL)

13th. Birthday parties should be about 3 hours max.
Its the guests in particular the boy's they get bored, and start wondering etc.
7-30 till 10-30 pm makes them feel grown up, and the parents will collect the guests ok with this.

Before that the guests think you think there still babies.
later bring a parents discission into play do they pick the kids up early at say 10pm or let then stay till 11pm
Which means they will pick guets up between the last half hour. which means guests are leaving while you are trying to keep a disco going etc.
We did a 13th. on Saturday all music great night, boy's where good, but parents picking up between 10pm and 10-30 so the last half hour was a bit of putting, with some girls losing there mobiles and asking the disco to be turned down etc.
Hope we have not started a war at home lol.

:embarasse :embarasse :embarasse :embarasse ..... yeah but I am after a .ie domain

    They cost a small fortune.

I will probably go for a .com or .net instead.

I think 7-10 for that age group too.

By the time you've got home and all that....
