    Default Music for fireworks

    I'm doing the one free gig I do every year tonight. It's an outdoor PA for the local cricket clubs firworks party. Generally attracts 1,000-1,500 people, and historically I've always generated work from it, so am happy to do it for the exposure.

    However, historically, I agonise no end about the choice of music to accompany the fireworks. For the last two years, I've gone with this:


    This year, I've been set on this:


    However, three hours before the gig (!), I'm wondering if I can get away with The Who.


    Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the suggestion, Darren. I've always drifted away from typical fireworks music - stuff like Handel. I played Wagner a few years ago, which went down well.

    All this doubt is down to bloody Wikipaedia, reading about John McVicar......
