Any good - I am assuming the sx 2 has the same dimensions - says so on the odysey site.

    From Germany with free delivery:

Zomo Looks the same as Odyseyy - probably out the same factory.
I prefer magma personally although the black ones look cool.

Yup, I went Magma, though I agree with Toby, it does look very nice in Black.

Just a warning - these cases are very heavy and you need a lot of space to be able to slide the shelf back far enough to see all of the SX controls (more space than you get with a DSB Pro!) If I made the decision again I might have been inclined to go for one without the laptop shelf... I'm seriously considering buying a padded bag for walk up gigs!

I binned my shelf and bought an Uberstand. Although I would get a crane if I buy another one.
Does not look as good but is better as per the magma. There are much better cases but not at £100. Bargain.

Those odyssey cases are so heavy. I had one and replaced it with this http://www.westenddj.co.uk/Product/P...PRO-DDJSX-FLT/

Much better, thinner and lighter. Looks nice too

    Hi guys

    Thanks for suggestions.

I have also looked at this case - http://www.gatorcases.com/p/123101-2...ddj-sx-arm1-pl
Again sourcing this in the uk seems to be anything but straight forward.

The point on the weight of the case is something worth thinking about.

With the official pioneer case, does the main unit sit on top of the lid to give it extra height when in use? I have a crane stand so using this with this case is an option. I'm just conscious that this case if not sitting on the lid will be low down which is never good for the old back lol.

    Thanks

    Iain

How high it is will depend on what you put it on. I use one of these which is height adjustable.

You cant put the lid underneath to make it higher, no.

Looks like you can, if it is vertical rather than stacking on top horizontally.
My magma does both, which is handy for today as I used a venues table for the ceremony as it looked better and fitted in.
Just too low until i added the case
