The short answer is "Very bright". I was going to suggest looking at the Stagg Headbangers as these are pretty much the same fixture, but it turns out the prices are now the same as well

Just to point out that if you're looking to get a good clear white, you need the White Spherions as the TriLED versions don't overlay the colours cleanly so you'll get three coloured spots on the walls, not white.
One other comment... if you've bought 29cm square truss the Fusion 50's are going to look a little lost on top of it. These fixtures are quite small.

I was just about to say something similar. I'd probably look at something bigger, or maybe go a different way and choose a different style of fixture. I've seen setups that have just two plinths with uplighters and a Spherion on each, and it looks nice enough.

How do the Fusion 150s compare with the Fusion 50s? There only seems to be about £40 difference in the price

Larger chassis and one has 12 x 12W LED's and the other has 7 x 8W LED's (144w vs 56w with the same 40 degree beam angle).
I haven't seen the 150 in operation, but I'd expect it to be crazy bright!!

I didn't probably phrase the question well, I meant how do they compare in real terms rather than the spec
If this is a logarithmic scale they should be somewhat brighter rather than 3x as bright, for the extra £40 per unit - which still sounds like good value.
Though my gut feeling is if you are gonna spend the money then you will most likely only spend it once so may as well go with the more powerful ones for an extra 25%-ish cost. Is that about right?

The trusses are 23cm triangular, so the moving heads are going to look a little lost.....we shall see (went for the Headbangers in the end).
I've also just invested in four of the Chauvet wedges to uplight them.
Haven't got the Spherions yet...the jury's still out on those and at the moment I'm tempted for this weekend at least to try them out with my pair of Jellydomes on the front podiums. The bit I like about the tri-colour ones is that they have a couple of effects in them rather than just spinning around. I think I'm going to need to go over to my local supplier and see them in the flesh before I commit to those.
Got a 60th birthday this weekend in a nice hotel....might have to treat them to the wedding rig so that I can get a few photo's and start promoting it to recoup some of the cash
Are you still going to paint the plinths white?

Not at the moment. They're in fairly good nick (might actually give 'em a polish and laquer them). I think being silver they'll probably have a better effect with the wedges in them....white might make them look a little tacky, especially if the paint gets chipped.

In my humble opinion, good decision (although I would still have been interested to see how they turned out)!
If it helps, I use silver gaffer tape to permantly tape my IEC and DMX cables to the ladders of my plinths. Easier on the cables than cable ties and and since it's silver, nobody is the wiser. Really helpful for a quicker setup too.
