Default Top 10(ish) Big Band / Swing

Following from this thread What are your top tracks of the genre? (please only list tracks that are proven to actually work in a mobile disco situation & not just because they are of a certain genre. Also must be suitable for all ages)

It doesn't matter if you post a track that somebody else has, the idea is to find good useable tracks of the genre that are proven to work for mobile DJs

Please Stick to the specific genre in the thread title

Make the lists as long as you like as long as they are useable

OK--I was asked to START a Wedding couple of years ago with Lets call the whole thing off---by Satchmo and Ella Fitz ---brilliant

    Well worth having available.

    Dont know what Dance though---slow?

We covered an 80th Birthday recently for mainly Barn Dance but were asked to play through a Glen Miller CD during the food break ---so yes WE get asked as well!

Cherry Poppin Daddies 'Zoot Suit Riot' is always a good'n
Brian Setzer Orchestra 'Jump Jive n Wail'
Bruce Willis and Danny Aiello 'Swingin' on a Star' (from Hudson Hawk soundtrack - much better sound than the Bing Crosby Original).

Michael Bublé 'Moondance' & 'How Sweet it is to Be Loved By You'
Harry Connick, Jr. 'It Had to Be You' (originally written in 1924!)

    Speaking of genuine oldies...
    Louis Prima/David Lee Roth 'I Ain't Got Nobody/Just a Gigolo'
Tony Bennett 'With Plenty of Money and You'
    Perez 'Pres' Prado 'Guaglione'
Cab Calloway & His Orchestra 'Minnie the Moocher'
Stan Kenton Orchestra & Nat 'King' Cole 'Orange Coloured Sky'
Nancy Wilson 'A Lot of Livin' to Do'
Nat 'King' Cole 'Let's Face the Music and Dance'
    The Music is the Life...
    ...And it Shall be Ours!
