    Yep bog standard IEC, as seen on pretty much any light that hasn't got a fixed lead or a powercon connection.

    Thanks, he told me it only had two pins but on closer inspection I can see it has 3.

    The area below the 3 pins probably holds a fuse and/or a mains filter.
