I've now heard from almost all of my weddings for the next 5 weeks and they've all suddenly acquired marquees to allow the evening celebration to go ahead as originally planned.
Ironically I've just picked up a gig because a DJ decided they couldn't live with that.

I've just had an interesting conversation with the owner of the venue I'm doing my first wedding at......
I was a little concerned after reading the official guidance that outdoor dancing wasn't even mentioned (outdoor dance floors aren't mentioned either - only inside). He has a specific "outdoor" license for his marquee and has had his barristers on the case to check and apparently it's all systems go. Even the police have said they can't do anything to stop it as it's technically outside. He's had several weddings there with full on party (only the allowed 30 but outdoors) since the May 17th easing and hasn't had a single problem legally.
Looks like I've got at least one wedding to definitely do in July
