Bridebook.
A future bride and her hubby to be have put me on Bridebook. Has anyone had any experience of it at all? Seems to me it's intended to be a one stop shop for wedding suppliers. I was asked to sign up, so I tried, and failed.
BB replied promptly, and having been given my info, entered it for me, all good so far. Then we hit a snag. They don't have a classification for Mobile Disco or Wedding DJ ( which seems pretty silly to me, but it's not my business ) so I was asked which of the following I would like to be filed under.
Hang on now, while I get these lined up. I'm gonna need all of these.
OK, younger readers may not have the full history of this, but it's caused serious before, and doubtless will do again. Am I:
Music, or Entertainment?

There's an entertainment section.
Bridebook will start to hassle you for money if you are on there, for higher positions and ads.
They do NOT care if the suppliers are any good, they are not vetted, they will list anyone who will or potentially will pay.
There's one national agency on there posing as individual local djs, which is totally untrue, but Bridebook aren't interested, probably because they pay for position.
Its YET another unnecessary middle man, to go along with Bark, Add2event, Poptop and all the others we never asked for.

With a free listing, I've found it's given me more leads than Hitched of Guides for Brides have achieved.
However, it's not going to fill your diary. But if you get one out of it from spending a bit of time setting up your account properly, then it's probably worth the time investment for the free listing.
