Default Where to buy occasional songs

Usually when I needed to buy the odd song here and there I went to Amazon and have done for years. However they have now removed the 'add to cart' function so each MP3 needs to be added individually.

Where do you go for the odd song that you need to buy ?

I am not looking for subscription services etc, just somewhere for the odd song I don't already have.

I've used Amazon before but found the quality of the download not good, I used to use 7 digital but found they cut the track short recently, you can download just one track from Mastermix.

You have to buy credits (I buy quite a few as it's a lot cheaper than Amazon and iTunes and better quality).

It's VERY rare for them not to have what you're looking for, and if they haven't got it....they'll find it for you!

Problem with Amazon is that they use VBR ( Variable Bit Rate ) and VDJ hates them. When you load one, it tells you it's seventeen minutes long, and then after two minutes it decides it's two minutes ten, and it's going to end in ten seconds. CBR files ( Constant Bit Rate ) work fine. In the days of the Cortex, they wouldn't even load VBR files!

Benny, iTunes has the problem that it wants to take over the world. I want to buy one piece of music, not give control of my computer to a power crazed piece of software.

I've always used Itunes (technically I shouldn't but hey ho). They've always had the largest DB I found personally it's only the specialist dance stuff once in awhile I need to source elsewhere (which is Beatport).

I can't remember the exact wording but it's basically for home use only. It's in their TOS.

It's the only service from Apple I use, and its not allowed to do anything with my computer other than let me download songs.
