These things happen. Servers can be temperamental, etc. It's almost certainly just one of those temporary glitches we have little control over. I have problems elsewhere, Ebay for instance gives me loads of grief. I lost access to my Facebook accounts (personal and business) for a week recently. No reason, but it works again now. The fact that this issue is intermittent may say something. We have to expect these things from time to time. Thanks again marc.

Got your PM no problem on my test account.

PMs have a max character limit of 5,000. Maybe you've been exceeding this... or triggering a security rule (it's pretty tight). There are no server issues here

Now that's a point. It may have exceeded that limit. As might the PM which was sent to me. I know mine wasn't a huge message but it was necessary to contain a fair bit of info. Wait ... Nope! ... just checked in Word and 2668 characters, so well within the limit.

Did you include any quoted text in your character count?

For the record, I usually delete quoted text. I'm not sure there's much point in retaining it unless there's something specific you want to respond to. Each to their own with that one though.
