    Default Email Help please.

Yesterday, for period of time, I couldn't send emails. They would just hang in Drafts. Then for some reason, later on, off they went.

This morning, I've tried to send a couple, and they're just sitting around in the Outbox, having coffee and biscuits, instead of getting on with earning me money! Lazy gits.

Any idea what the problem is? I'm using whatever mail program comes with Windoze.

Who are you hosted with? My emails are acting up a bit, something is going off behind the scenes but no idea what.

Due to a server upgrade email client settings need to slightly change, you both have PMs (and emails)

ETA: Peter, this won't have caused your issues last night, the migration started at 10:25:30 this morning and finished at 10:52:38, so not sure what your first problem was

    Apparently the same. Still ongoing.

    Correct.

Oops. With help from Marc, I seem to have cured it. we had to change a name in the settings. They started piling in after that. Fingers crossed.

Young Callum suggested this about a hundred years ago, it seems. After my M$ mail program fell over again, and Marc J couldn't see why, he suggested I try Thunderbird. It's just like going back ten years, it's a Windoze format that worked just fine all those years ago, and some bits are very familiar. I haven't started delving into it, but I suspect I can create folders to organise stuff, just like I used to do. So far, so Good.

Thanks Marc, and sorry for doubting you Callum.

Thunderbird is great! Miles better than Outlook and a lot of other programmes out there.
