Default Well done petrol station fella!

Near 1am on what was now Monday morning, I pulled into my regular 24 hour petrol station to put fuel in the van. As you may guess, I wasn't bright eyed and bushy tailed, after doing battle with what I have now decided is Ronald's least efficient emporium, rain of varying intensities, and lack of sleep.

The lad behind the counter is a bit of a wag, with dry humour. Imagine my horror when he informed me that I'd put petrol in the blasted thing! He was adamant I had misfuelled.

Then he laughed, and said " April Fool ". Well played Sir, apparently it's quite an easy one for him, he can get loads of drivers with it, especially when they wander in bleary eyed at 1am.

Yeah I'd not be too amused with that one.....

That said having ran 24/7 garages back in the day I often found the more quirky the nightstaff, the better they were at their jobs. Guess it kept him entertained all night.
