That's the thing. There wasn't a buffet or smoke machine being used. Dad heard them loud for 10 minutes and that was enough.

But yes, maybe you're* right. Sorry for going on about it. They are fine now so that's what matters.

    * Please tell me that's the correct one.

It was a confined dark space and I think with the aid of a strong strobe light it made me people feel a bit giddy. Dad however wasn't subjected to the strobe. I felt I'll, teachers felt I'll, kids felt I'll. A girl went home disorianted and walked into her bedroom door giving her a severe nose bleed.

High pitched loud music in a confined space-could make people feel I'll.

Having your ears ringing can cause physcological problems, therefore making you feel I'll. Simualr to when your on a plane and your ears pop - it can make some people feel nausa.

I was being flippant with my options for causes. My point is it could be any number of things.

Now I feel we're closer to the cause. Strobing can cause nausea among other things.

Your probably right Steve - but it dosnt explain so why so many people complained of "ringing" ears.

    Okay okay.

Dad being ill may have been a fluke.
The girl with the nose bleed probably had a reaction to the strobe.
The others (including myself) may have found the music too loud which caused ringing in their ears.

I can tell I'm annoying/begining to get on your nerves now, so we can leave it at that.
