    Default Mastermix commission

Just had a phonecall from a woman at Mastermix asking if i would be interested putting a link on my website linking to Mastermix Digital.

The idea being that any traffic/client from my site, via the link, that then buys from Mastermix Digital...i recieve a commission as a thank you for their advertising....

Gonna get some info through via email and have a look at it.

Anyone else had the phone call?

Mastermix is aimed more toward DJs, with that in mind is any of the potential clients surfing your site going to find the link of use?

Why offer potential clients an exit route from your site?

You've managed to get them there in the first place, you want to hold them there. Don't go giving them excuses to click away. Especially not for the few groats you're likely to get in return.

    Couldn't agree more.

I fail to understand why ANY business would have links to other peoples websites.

...and could I just point out that there is a Mastermix banner on THIS site, so if you would like to support the forum, you could use the banner that appears at the top of the page to get to Mastermix digital

Alternatively, if Dynamic puts a banner on his site and asks you go go via there, you could steal the bread from the forum's mouth

    Hmmm... debatable.

Otherwise I'd just find every PR9 site on earth and put up links to them on my website. google.com, microsoft.com, bing.com, yahoo.com....

Now if you could get Mastermix to link to YOU then you'd have a bonus
