Errrr Martin, Max was regularly capable of posting advice which was at best well intentioned. It was often at odds with perceived wisdom.

Briefly what I know---- from a third party I bumped into Badger is still (or was) active in Haverhill a year ago, Rice is running a successful expanding business out in the wilds of Norwich/Ipswich area--he tells me when we have an occasional quick chat.

Seriously, don't start that campaign, the forum is better without him & I won't take kindly to it if I find there has been an effort to get him back.
