Just a quick update to state that my issue has now been resolved.

I never started this thread to create all this negativity - but the fact it has snowballed and taken on a life of its own is as worrisome as it is telling.

I've always admitted I'm a bit too "soft-nosed" in business.
After leaving countless messages myself, having never raised my voice, nor demanded nor threatened, I conclude polite indigation is a fool's errand....

Am pleased for you it's sorted, Andy. Great shame it required your (without disrespect) 'heavier handed' approach to get there. Respect to you for getting done with the getting it done. I've taken some cues.

I've just left 2 final messages at the office and the mobile.....then it's Game Face on and fingers at the ready:
I feel an epic email coming on if I hear nothing back *again* by close of play today.

I don't want to threaten cancelling the project but I've got next year's potential business to think of now. I can't go on limping between two brands on a half-completed exercise.

I'll never fully vent my vitriol on here, but needless to say after everything I wrote in defense earlier in this thread, I feel like a fool and I've cut so much slack that I'm running out of rope..... :-(

A great shame since Lee's an affable chap and talented designer, with lots of time for me when I *do* manage to speak with him. But he's not even had 5 minutes for me in at least the past fortnight it seems. The 3 phone calls and 4 screen shots I've recieved in over the past 2 months just don't add up the the amount I've paid ahead.

The situation is not quite past rescue yet...but the balance of my little sliding-scale of trust has certainly been changed. Pity.

In the interest of balance, within 30-40 mins of the call and posting the note above I recieved an email from Reece with apology, some explanation and a note of what will happen next today.

Lee continues to have my best wishes in his 'absence from the office'...but I do wish I could have been kept in the loop sooner.
    Shared inboxes/call forwarding, anyone?

    Nonetheless: I am hopeful.

It's good to see that things appear to be getting back on track for existing clients of Leap. It's just a shame such a long period of uncertainty for them may have already put off other potential future clients.

Jonny Boy - I wouldn't feel too guilty about the way your thread has turned out. There is loads of positive advice and opinions being given here so, if Leap take any of it onboard, you OP may have helped to improve the customer experience of their clients in the future. Likewise, any business operator / service provider who reads the thread may pick up a few tips thus improving customer service on a wider scale!

I'm sorry to say this, but it has annoyed me.

They are advertising special offers on FB, finishing on 11th July...

So you have people not being dealt with on here and yet are advertising for more work elsewhere.

Just to add: The site admins here would be interested to hear within the next week (via PM if preferred) if you have still not managed to get some resolution to your issues with Leap Creative. As they are advertisers on the forum we would hope that they are treating the customers fairly that they have procured via this site. If they cannot or will not resolve matters then we may have to re-evaluate their position here on the MDD Forum.

I've been wondering when this announcement would make an appearance. This is one of the reasons I was willing Leap to put things right quickly as I could see how it might jeopardise their relationship with the forum - whether they were paying advertisers or not. It's good to see progress has been made (although I wonder just how much the threat of the small claims court contributed to this ) but I hope clients, like Frankie, with outstanding issues can get some closure soon.
