And I was just getting to be impressed by my only Yamaha product--box amp.
Peter, the solution is easy--I have to do this with my heavy Peavey UL15s.
Use the speaker tripod as a lever to topple the speakers slowly up or down, on the way down have a cloth on the floor to avoid any damage or marks.

Beats me why the plastic cabs have handles & the heavier wooden ones don't
