    Still playing with 8
But I would say you need to select Extenal mixer then MC6000 on this screen!

    Seems logical.

I too have been having issues getting VDJ8 mappings to work correctly with my MC6000 Mk1.

With VDJ7 I had no problems, used channels 1 & 4, everything mapped correctly.

However, when trying to do the same with VDJ8, I cannot seem to get 1 & 4 to map in the same way and in 7.

All I've been able to do so far, is use 3&4. With these, the mappings for the sliders do work within VDJ8. (So I use 3 & 4, instead of 1 & 2 to get the same operation in VDJ8)

I'm still using V7, playing with V8 when I get chance, (Not very often though). I really need to bite the bullet and start using V8.

External Mixer is not the answer.

Using the configuration pictured, I get

    Treble only on channel 1,
    Bass only on channel 2,
    full sound on 3&4.

Had no trouble with sound settings on version 7

In the Source column should you not be listing your decks, rather than Master and Headphones

...once you've changed the Output to External Mixer of course!

Problem solved, had the correct settings, just gave it a reboot and reinstall.

    Thanks.

As I've had a quiet couple of weeks I too have made the switch to VDJ8..... I can get it to work properly in 2 deck However, 4 deck mode is not playing nicely!

When cueing decks 3 or 4 with tracks playing on the same fader it obviously plays over the top of it ie: you can hear both tracks. The way I had VDJ7 setup was playing through faders 2 & 3 so how do I get them onto separate faders ie: Deck1 on 1 Deck 2 on 2 etc etc?

I'm hoping I've just missed something really simple and some techy type will point in the right direction.

Current Audio settings are: Output: Speaker / Headphones ard: MC6000

    Thanks in advance.
