A great little freebie.
Cutlist (http://www.delphiforfun.org/Programs/CutList.htm)

Just input the wood panel size`s and the size of the sheet , and it works out the best fit .

it did this .

7784

This is for 2 x tops (two eight drivers and a compression driver)
And the top and bottom of the subs ( 2 x 12")

These were on show at the last SEDA meeting

Great piece of software... now all you have to do is work out how to get the 'oiks' down at B&Q to cut it properly and you're laughing! :D :D

Yea , thats about B&Q :D

I had mine cut yesterday at covers builders merchants in chichester , they were ready by this morning.

Cost:

Thats 2 x 18mm birch ply sheets 1220 x 2440( not birch faced) + all the cuts = £91 , thats cheap

7788

They accurate as well , and yes that is the remains of a HP2s hazer in the background

What a great find! I've been eyeing up Cutlist Pro for a while, now. Couldn't justify the cost.

Thanks for sharing.

Tony Andrew's? Daryll, can you build me some Res 5's? I'll give you a packet of Monster Munch as an advance.

Cheers mate. Let me know when I can collect.

I can imagine what Mr Andrews would say if you asked for the plans for any of the Funtion one cabs :D :D

Funny, as not long ago one of the lads on SP ran up a design for a new mid top which never quite came about as far as I know. Originally with a P Audio SN12MB on the low and an Eminence 8 and comp on the mids / HF.

Remarkably similar to a Res 4. I'd really love to build a few and bring out the Phonic meter and SMAART!

Is that a ported horn I see for the 12" driver?

Not bad. :)

Good effort Daryll. With the neo's, they'll be a joy to move around! Get some pics up when you've finished them.

just an update.

These are the cut panels for the tops , there are still the backs to do , 2 x 50mm holes for the ports and a recessed speakon socket.

7937

These are the subs , I may just use one to start with , missing are the top and bottom panels , work in progress :D

7938

I may end up tri-amping this lot , the EP2500 for the subs and a couple of matrix amps for the mid/compression drivers.

Next will be gluing and screwing the top/bottom/sides/backs and the shelf inside , then painting , wadding , electrics and the drivers fitted , hopfuly the last thing will be the front grills.

Next is to bevel the top and bottom , fill all the countersunk screw heads , and belt sand any imperfections out ( yes there are some :D )

All "T" nuts have been fitted to mount the drivers and horn.

the hole in the bottom is for a top hat fitting , square hole in the top is for the carry handle
