I actually did once......a DN1800F CD player a few years back.

It didn't last much longer than a Numark though...hence my jawdrop at Beerfunk's comment.

I have a Numark mixer and a Denon and the sound quality is a lot better on the Denon.

I have a set of Denon DN 2100F players that must be at least 10 years old and are going strong.

i think its fair to say that denon is accepted as a higher quality brand than numark.

100% Denon since Christmas & I have to say there is a noticable improvement in the sound (just when I was beginning to think the Class Ds couldn't sound any better )

All I'm saying is that in my experience the much higher price wasn't justified...as their CD player didn't last much longer than a Numark, which really surprised me.
