    Well on the class-d speakers yeah but at the party I was at the speakers were just over driven all night. Even when people were eating food, he still played it full blast and he wore a nasty tshirt and jeans. . Plus his cables were a right mess.

    Had a great gig last night & may have got some more work through it.

    But I got stung by a wasp, who then decided to come back for seconds & landed on the fader of the deck I was just about to play. (this resulted in some mic work & a rather less fluid change of genres than I had planned)

    It is now an ex-wasp

    Did a 60's night dinner dance for a local indoor bowling club. Predominantly older audience who remembered the 60's for real and danced all night from the first to the last although I had to play several smooch sets during the evening to pace them! I hadnt done a 60's night for some time and it was good to play some different tunes.

    No now you come to mention it but to be honest they werent into the soul stuff anyway. They had a couple of requests that beat me. Dave Clark 5 "Glad All Over" and "Running Bear" by Johnny Preston.
