Wicked Gig on Sat
21st - 60% women 20% gays
I think every single Kylie, Disco and Ladies Night song was played
Floor was packed from 9pm onwards
Most of the Ladies were rather tidy as well - Great gigs when they happen

quick report from last saturday night April 9th.
Gerrards Cross sports club, lovely lovely staff, bought me a coke up every 30 minutes. 40th and 50th birthday party for a wife and husband respectively, nice couple but they sprung a playlist on me at 7.45pm, i had 95% of them. Did my best with their list, played most tracks, some during the buffet and early doors and some for dancing, a few got missed off. Finished 15 minutes earlier than contracted, lovely.
Eventually started properly at 10.20pm, got them dancing, cleared the floor a few times, finished by 11.45pm. Out by 12.15am, home by 1.15am. Lovely.

long live lightboxes..........lots of em!!!
Unfortunately it was a terrible night for me.
(I think I'm doing something wrong)
It was for my boss...I wanted to do him proud because I know he thinks highly of me.
It was for his kids rugby presentation. Thirty bored teenagers, 50 bored sober adults is never a good mix (they were driving the kids home)
Literally, nobody danced until I encouraged a few of the ruby teens to get up...they stayed on the floor for a matter of minutes.
I felt horrible, disappointed and annoyed. He still thanked me and popped another £40 in my pocket (which I didn't want to take)
I beg and hope my wedding goes okay.
My wedding last night turned into a large kids party.I knew from speaking to the bride beforehand that there would be young kids going, and that she would like music for the young ones after the first dance untill around 9.30ish.(buffet time).
Turned out after the buffet most of the dancers were teenagers who wanted macarena, cha cha slide, cotton eyed joe ect.with some bruno mars and justin beiber.
Was a good night, but not what you expect at a wedding.Normally its a good variety of music,to suit all ages.
I had a good night last night. It was a wedding for DJ Frankie's sister and they were all up for a boogie. Hopefully I won't need to do a report as such because it would be nice to hear from someone that was actually there to let me know if everything was alright.
