And I don't understand why you keep posting either apart from the fact that the owner of Leap is a mate of yours. Rose tinted spectacles I suspect.

That is really why I am posting. I was secretly hoping that it would all be sorted as you can often make more business when you messs up and then sort it out as it shows integrity, but this appears not to be the case.

Never messed up a wedding or made any mistakes (apart from a laptop crashing on first dance many years ago) and hopefully never will.

I've stayed out of this for some time, as up until a month ago things were going well.

I hired Leap to redesign my website. The project started in early April and I was dealing with Lee, who was very helpful.
After a bit of design brief and draft design (photoshop) was emailed out. They work on a staged payment system (which I also use when doing development work)

Due to day job pressures and there was no urgent rush, and I left it for a few months. Lee was ok with this, and the stories here were piling up - so I thought I'd leave them time to sort out the problems.

Skip forward to August, we kicked things back off again with some design tweaks which I then signed off. The next stage was to break the layered design into HTML/CSS.
    Invoice was paid for this.

The last time I heard from Lee was on the 2nd September. Since then, I've have a Steve Jennings mainly fielding emails, and a call from a James Cartwright.
During the call from James, he explained the phones are down which is why Lee has been difficult to reach. He also said he would email his contact details and agreed to email me on Friday a quick update.

Neither of these email were received, so I fired another email to Steve. I received a reply asking me to check my spam folder (its not in there, and my DJ emails are also collected by my gmail account - so easy to search, even spam emails).

I then replied, sent an email to James and requested a reply by close of business. Nothing.

Today, I've requested the PSD files and an update by the end of today.

I've paid ~£500 on this, my account with them is paid up, they are unreachable by phone, or Lee's mobile.

I'm very annoyed, but are on a break with my Mrs, so will probably have to wait until Monday before going further. My concern is that their phones have been down for over 2 weeks (if not more), my story is not unique and I know of at least 2 other people (not here) that have been let down..

They are trading under Leap Manchester Ltd, but as this is a fairly recent formation, very little information exists.

    Yes this outfit is unbelievable.
Its impossible to contact them if you have a complaint.
Its amazing if you send them a email via a different email address asking about prices and services, they will reply with in 1 hour.
I am collecting people names and details of people who as been let down by this company because Trading Standards will want a list.
I have contacted a few organisations to take thing further but i am waiting for leap/48press to get back to me (guess i will be waiting a long time)
